Kahului Airport to Wailea: The transfer time from the Kahului Airport to Wailea properties on arrival is approximately 30 minutes.
Wailea to Kahului Airport: Allow a minimum hotel departure time of 2.5 hours prior to flight times when planning hotel departures from Wailea properties to the Kahului Airport.
OTHER TRANSFERS
Golf Courses: The transfer time from Wailea properties to Wailea’s three golf courses, the Wailea Gold Course, The Wailea Emerald Course and the Wailea Blue Course is about 10-minutes or less depending on your property.
Wailea Restaurants: Dinner transfers to Wailea Restaurants take approximately 10-minutes or less.
Kihei and Kihei Restaurants: Kihei transfers to Restaurants and other attractions take approximately 10 – 15 minutes.
Ma’alaea Harbor: Transfers to Ma’alaea Harbor which is the closest large commercial harbor to Wailea is an approximate 20 – 25 minute drive. This is where most snorkeling, sport fishing and whale watching will depart from for Wailea-based groups.
Kihei Small Boat Harbor: Transfers to the Kihei Small Boat Harbor takes about 10-minutes from Wailea Properties. This is the departure point for smaller snorkeling and scuba diving boats heading to Molokini Crater and the Kanaio Coast.
Hiking: Most hiking excursions take place towards east Maui. The transfer time to the most popular hiking trail is approximately 45 – 50 minutes.
Haleakala: The one-way transfer time to get to the rim of Haleakala where the visitor lookout is located will take approximately 1.5 – 2 hours.
Kahului Heliport: Transfers to the Kahului Heliport take approximately 30-minutes. Most companies ask that participants check in 45-minutes prior to their flight time. This means helicopter tour participants need to depart their Wailea hotel 75 minutes prior to each scheduled tour time. Door to door, a rule of thumb is an experience duration time of approximately 2.5 to 3-hours.

Golf Courses: The transfer time from Ka’anapali properties to the Resort’s two golf courses, is 10-minutes or less depending on your property. Transfers to the Kapalua Golf Courses can take 20 – 25 minutes.
Ka’anapali Restaurants: Dinner transfers to Ka’anapali Restaurants take approximately 10-minutes or less from Ka’anapali hotels located within the resort. Many, along Ka’anapali Beach, are also within walking distance.
Lahaina Town and Lahaina Restaurants: Transfers to Lahaina Town where wonderful restaurants, shops and other attractions abound, take approximately 10 – 15 minutes. Lahaina Harbor is also located in the heart of town. This is where many snorkeling, sport fishing, whale watching (in season) and other ocean recreation takes place.
Ma’alaea Harbor: Transfers to Ma’alaea Harbor from Ka’anapali is an approximate 25 to 30-minute drive. This is where snorkeling to Molokini will depart from for all Maui groups.
